I was born in Texas but my parents decided to move back to their native Yorkshire when I was 18 months old. I spent the first half of my childhood in a small village called Saltaire before we relocated to Cheshire when I was in primary school.
When I was a child, I wanted to discover the lost city of Atlantis or El Dorado, so I guess I wanted to be an archaeologist/historian. I think I probably watched to many Indiana Jones films with my Grandparents!
My favourite subject at school would have been History or Drama. History because I’ve always loved learning about the past and then drama because I’m a little bit of a Drama Queen!
This may be a cliche but I love everything about my job! I love having the opportunity to collaborate, communicate and innovate with all of our amazing departments to achieve our mission. I honestly think our people make Pentagon and luckily we are all P.E.A.C.H.I (inside joke!)
I’m blessed to have a little boy (and a husband!) who keep me busy when I'm not working. We have a campervan and try and get away as much as we can exploring the UK. I also love food – cooking, eating and watching programmes about it so it’s probably a good thing that I also really enjoy going to the gym and bouldering.
A fun fact about me is that I collect royal commemorative teacups and have ones dating back to the 1900's!
