Playground Equipment For Key Stage 2
As Key Stage 2 learners progress and become more and more mature, they need to have access to an outdoor learning environment that still pushes them to achieve more.
At this stage in their development, children have identified certain strengths and weaknesses that they have and our innovative playground designs can help children develop their strengths further and help rectify their weaknesses. For instance, our Multi-Use-games-Area (MUGA) will give children the platform to practice a sport that they are naturally gifted at and a Wildlife Area can be used to introduce children to concepts such as PH levels which will help prepare them for topics in secondary school.
A job very well done. Nothing was too much trouble for the lads, very friendly and sociable a credit to your company. Well done!

I want to take the opportunity to state how impressed I've been with Rob and his fitting crew. Over the far too many years I care to remember in the job, I've experienced countless different contractors in and around school but none match the work rate and quality of Rob and his crew. Nothing was ever too much bother and the communication throughout the job was fantastic.

The outside area is used regularly by the children and the new surfacing is fantastic for them to get outside whatever the weather. PE lessons are regularly held in this area using sports coaches.

The play structure is even more attarctive than the drawings we saw during the planning stages

The children are keen and excited to go outside, they play imaginatively in the mud kitchen area, they love climbing, jumping and creating obstacle courses with the large blocks - and it’s super to see them developing their balance and core strength and exploring different ways to move and jump, which all helps with developing their gross motor skills for things like writing. They also have to challenge themselves to both analyse and to take risks. They love the climbing wall and again this builds muscle strength and is important for developing their fine and gross motor ability. The artificial grass has completely changed the appearance of the area and it means the outdoor area looks more tidy and with more appealing. It makes the whole area an outdoor space that reflects our approach to outdoor learning at BCS - it is welcoming yet still natural. The different areas are clearly defined encouraging independence and they support learning across the Early Years curriculum

Our playground was small and there was often large puddles, making outdoor P.E in the winter almost impossible. We had worked with Pentagon before, right from the start they were client orientated, very professional and very knowledgeable. They helped steer us to a practical, cost effective solution. The quality of worked continued into the construction phase. Equipment arrived on site as per schedule and was secured safely. The workmen arrived early, observed all H&S requirements, worked full days and left the site secure each evening.
We have now had our MUGA for over a year (nearly two winters). The children have used it every break and lunchtime as an extension to the playground. Clubs, games and coaching have gone on throughout the year. It is robust in construction, delightful to the eye, extremely practical and hard wearing.
