Throughout Leeds, we’ve worked with over 40 primary schools and nurseries to create unique and exciting outdoor learning environments that not only meet the aims of the project but also provide children with a fun environment where they can learn through play within.

Whether the aim of the project was to promote road safety in an EYFS space or provide children with SEN with a tailored outdoor area suited to their needs, each outdoor space we’ve carefully crafted has been designed and installed with improving children’s educational play experience in mind.

We take a consultative approach to our playground designs, gathering the thoughts and project aims form teachers, senior leadership, parents and the little learners themselves, before creating a realistic-looking design and transforming it into a reality.

In Leeds, we’ve worked with The GORSE Academies Trust to improve the outdoor learning environments at three of their amazing primary schools.

Here, Rachel Law from Richmond Hill Academy (apart of The GORSE Academies Trust) explains how she felt working alongside us on their exciting playground project:

“Throughout the whole process, Pentagon were open and willing to make any personalised changes to meet our pupils individual needs. They were extremely supportive throughout the design process, and understood the need for amendments in order to maximise the space for our children.

Our children absolutely ADORE the provision. We have seen a clear decrease in our children’s overstimulation within the classroom environment as they now have a phenomenal, high quality and well planned space for them to explore.

We are extremely happy with the outcome of our outdoor provision!”
