I grew up in and around Bramhall, where I have lived my entire life. I have 4 brothers and one sister so we all spent a lot of time in the garden, making up games that you could never remember the rules to the next day and often injuring each other.
When I was younger, I wanted to be an officer in the army, however when I realised it involved so much fitness that went out the window! After that, I wanted to be a professional Lego designer/builder.
In school, my favourite subjects were History and Geology. Geology because the teacher was a legend. History because I have an active interest in all eras and aspects of history, especially WW2.
What I love most about my job is working on varied jobs, and the fact that every day is different. I like working closely with the products department and bringing their designs into fruition by working on the prototypes and suggesting the best/more functional methods for production.
In my spare time, I love getting out into the hills and walking to relax, as well as listening to music obnoxiously loud (not at the same time). Cool as it may sound, I also enjoy building Lego still.
A fun fact about me is that I once did the Kessel run in 12 parsecs!
