When I was growing up, I always wanted to work in construction. I had a huge obsession with the TV show Bob the Builder—I loved watching him fix things and build all sorts of cool projects. The song “JCB” really spoke to me too, with its catchy tune and all the imagery of working with big machines. It just seemed like the perfect job to me !
My favourite school subject was definitely PE. It was more than just about physical activity—it really grew my love for sports and the outdoors. I loved the variety of activities, whether it was team sports, running, or just being outside in the fresh air. That passion stuck with me into adulthood, and I’m always trying new sports to stay active. Right now, I’m exploring golf and American football, both of which are challenging and fun in their own ways. PE sparked that ongoing desire to keep moving and try new things, and I’m still carrying that forward.
In my spare time, I really enjoy going on hikes with my family and our dog, Winnie, who’s a Miniature Pinscher. It’s a great way to get outdoors and spend quality time together. I also love playing golf, even though I’m not great at it yet—it’s a fun challenge and I’m always working to improve. When I’m indoors, I enjoy gaming as well. It’s a great way to unwind and get immersed in different worlds. These activities give me a good balance of being active and relaxing, which is exactly how I like to spend my free time.
A fun fact about me is that I’m a huge fan of LEGO! I’ve been building ever since I was a kid, and it’s become a lifelong hobby. Whether it’s intricate sets like modular buildings or creating my own custom designs, I love how LEGO combines creativity, problem-solving, and a bit of nostalgia. That said, I just don’t enjoy walking in the dark and stepping on those bricks—painful lesson learned!
