I have worked in education since 2006, including working for a school photography company, an educational publisher and a supplier of educational resources until I joined Pentagon Play in February 2017, so I have had lots of different experiences working with schools and nurseries.
Pentagon Play gives me the opportunity to unleash my inner child and creative side! My stepchildren are both in their twenties now but when they were young I was always the parent that was playing in the ball pit or sliding down drop slides with them, so to be able to work for a company that designs beautiful, solid, educational outdoor play equipment is perfect for me!
Outside of work, I live with my husband Ian and our rescued greyhound and cat. We both love to keep healthy so enjoy regular runs with our dog in nearby Thetford Forest. We live in a lovely quirky old cottage and I enjoy upcycling and recycling old, pre-loved furniture which then adds even more character to our home.
Being a former fitness instructor and personal trainer, I really understand the importance and benefits of regular exercise and fresh air. I love to see children outside playing and learning, letting off steam and being happy. It is something I am very passionate about which is yet another reason that I love my job!
