When I was little, I wanted to be a sports or travel journalist. I thought this would be the coolest job because I love writing and could also combine my favourite activities at the same time! I still write, travel and enjoy sports…just not as a career!
I loved languages – English, French and German. I begged my teachers to let me learn Spanish too, but they wouldn’t allow me as they thought it would become too confusing! One of my children is now learning Spanish at secondary school, so I’m finally realising an ambition and am learning it alongside him.
In my spare time, I love being with my family, seeing as much live music as possible, and travelling! I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot, and live in various fun places around the world, so am making sure I pass on my love for travel to my children. At weekends, I can often also be found freezing next to a rugby pitch!
A fun fact about myself is that I used to play golf for Dorset Girls!
