Every day I feel incredibly privileged to be a part of such a passionate and talented team who share my love of developing the play and learning environments of our next generation. As an Outdoor Learning Consultant, I will be part of the team that transforms your ideas into a beautiful outdoor area to inspire and motivate your children to learn through play.
Collaborating with teachers and practitioners to improve the outdoor provisions for their children is at the heart of what I do and I am so very proud to have designed many different spaces in the South East and privileged that I get to see the difference we make to such a huge number of children.
I believe that spending time outdoors is one of the most beneficial things we can do for our physical and mental health so I love to bring learning outside of the classroom at every opportunity and I am incredibly proud that the work we do supports and encourages us to get outside more and more and enjoy learning in a fun and exciting way. It is never too early (or late!) to start reaping the benefits of playing outside.
When I’m not working, my little boy keeps me very busy and teaches me new things every day. We love to go on adventures and meet new friends. We are very active and are rarely still for too long! I have jumped out of a plane, pulled an 18-tonne truck and spoken in front of hundreds of people at a young carer’s conference when I was only 9 years old but I can also be very shy, quiet and need time to be by myself, so I really appreciate when a play space provides lots of opportunities for our children to play in different ways and be whoever they want to be.
