If not, we recently released a new range of Outdoor Musical Instruments, ideal for supporting your child’s education through play. 

Now we’re giving you the opportunity to win one of these fabulous instruments for free!

What can your school win? 

This April, we are giving you the opportunity to win your very own freestanding Marimba*, an open-ended musical instrument, perfect for pupils looking to explore their musical genius. 

Easily moveable, this instrument will be a great addition to the school as it can be moved around the school to be used by different classes.  

Its height means that this item is suitable for year 1 through to year 6 and with the addition of a small stepping item, it can be made suitable for nursery and reception too!  

This Marimba is constructed from timber and sapele, a robust hardwood material and is available via Pentagon Play’s Online Shop for just £945 + VAT.  

However, this is your chance to bag this item for free! 

How can you enter your school? 

This is the easy part!  

All you must do is... 

Head over to any one of our social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok and like/follow @pentagonplayuk. 

Then, comment your schools name and tag some of your teacher friends in the competition post to get them involved too - the more entries, the more chance you have of being the winner! 

Finally, share our competition post on your own social media page of your choice (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok stories allowed but we recommend tagging us to make sure we see it!) 

These three simple steps could bag you one of our NEW musical marimbas and fill your school playground with musical fun! 

Please note, that you may enter across multiple social media platforms for more entries, but you must complete all three steps to validate your entry.  

When will the winner be announced? 

One winner will be randomly selected on Friday 29th April 2022 at 12pm and you have until then to enter.  

The winner will be announced via social media that same day at 3pm.  

Following the announcement of the lucky winner, we will then contact the individual to arrange delivery to the school in 6-8 weeks.  

Please note, individuals may only enter on behalf of a school and the prize cannot be won for personal use.  

How will this prize benefit our pupils? 

Musical Instruments are hugely influential for your pupils' learning.  

Music is key in a child’s PSED and CLLD development as they learn to communicate through the medium of music and read notes and letters.  

Pupils’ will develop the ability to use musical instruments as a method of supporting their mental well-being, retreating to the instrument for some calm-down time or exert their extra energy during break time! 

Pupils will also develop key socialisation skills such as turn-taking and conservational manners as they share this instrument with their peers.  

Music is also great for fine motor skills development as they learn to handle the beaters and how gentle or hard to hit the instrument. They will develop control and accuracy as well as grip!

*T&C’s: Individuals may only enter once on each platform but may enter on different platforms. Schools may be entered on multiple occasions by different participants.
