Swinley Forest Trim Trail

Ideal for larger classes or pupils with more confidence in their climbing, the Swinley Forest Trim Trail is an exciting challenge for pupils. Pupils must engage their problem-solving skills, as well as their balance and coordination, when climbing across the Inclined Balance Beam, Stepping Logs and Disc Poles. Moving on, children can then practice their balance and upper arm strength as they work their way across the Platform to Platform Tightrope Crossing and Inclined Log Bridge Crossing, using the rope holds to support themselves. Jumping across to the colourful climbing wall, pupils must choose their footholds wisely, in order to make it over to the Slalom Weave Traverse on the other side. Towards the end of the trail, pupils can work their way along the Crisscross Net Traverse and the ZigZag Rope Balance Traverse to really test their coordination and problem-solving, before hopping down with a feeling of success!
