Young forest explorers… Pentagon Play have a new product waiting to be installed in your playground!

The Wistman’s Forest Trim Trail is here to bring you a fun-filled challenge. Named after the Wistman’s Wood Forest in Devon, it is an ancient forest that has been left to grow wild, with no destruction or shaping from humans or animals.

Explorers will start the trail by crossing the tightrope bridge, across the log balance weaver, onto the step rope traverse, and finally over the platform to platform beam crossing. These obstacles are a great way to involve traditional playtime games such as ‘the floor is lava’ into daily play.

Playing games that involve teamwork will help to prepare children for future tasks as they grow older. When a child works within a team, he/she has the opportunity to build on positive relationships.

Bringing action and adrenaline, the 5 different components have been designed to help children develop body strength, coordination, balance and overall fitness during play.

With a critical fall height of 0.6m, this forest trim trail is suitable for children of all ages to enjoy, giving them the opportunity to try out new things and take risks whilst in a safe environment.
