With a beautifully crafted double pitch roof and an open entrance, children feel less confined allowing them to be more fluent with their movements: creating an inclusive atmosphere as children are more inclined to collaborate and communicate with one another.

Sparking children’s inner creativity, the covered deck space provides an ideal focal point for role play, den building and imaginative play games to take place. Climbing the full-width steps onto the raised deck, children’s imaginations run wild!

Above the entrance, multiple den making holes aid adult-led role-play activities as props and materials are used to dress the space. Teachers can also use the playhouse to take activities, such as story time outdoors, as a whole class of children sit in the space watching the characters of the story dance around them!

Learning at height in the great outdoors provides plenty of positive outcomes: improving children’s behaviour, increasing self-esteem, developing problem-solving skills and independence.
