Our magnificent Forest Floor Learning Den engages children’s imaginations and encourages fun role-play activities. There are so many positives outcomes from learning at height in the great outdoors: children learn to become more independent, their behaviour improves, and develop keep skills like problem solving whilst developing their personal, social and emotional skills. With a cosy artificial grass surface on the deck, children can sit comfortably as they sit, read, relax, play and talk. This also provides an anti-slip surface for the deck. The covered deck space provides an area for role play, den building and imaginative play games to take place. The benches located at the back of the structure enable children to sit inside the den comfortably, providing an area to socialize with friends. Den making holes on the front rafters allow the space to be transformed into whatever they wish, hanging props and signs to enhance their games or providing teachers with the opportunity to lead the play with adult-led learning activities. Full width stairs at the front of the deck create a large open space to use and can also be used as seating in the summer weather.
