Flow Table

Our Flow Table is an inclusive and energetic open-ended resource ideal for Nursery School Gardens. During child-led play, children will take turns releasing various objects down the table; excited by each differing result as water or loose resources bounce and roll down the surfaces at numerous speeds. During experimentation, children will strengthen their communication and language skills by discussing results with each other. Nursery Practitioners can lead the play by providing sand and other materials which will slow or direct the descent of objects. Provided with a set of Artificial Grass-Topped Steps, every Nursery child can participate in fascinating scientific play, without exclusion due to height. A drip tray underneath the table provides a safe, easy access area for all resources to return to after being dropped down the table. A number of holes are built into the drip tray, ensuring standing water doesn't develop. Fine motor skills are important for school readiness and the confidence that comes with feelings of independence. These ramped surfaces are perfect for developing coordination, supporting inclusive child-led play and developing fine motor skills.
