Our Ramped Sandpit is the perfect messy play resource for Nursery Gardens, as it enables even the youngest children in the setting to get in on the messy, sensory fun outdoors.

Creating an exciting space for children to explore and investigate as they crawl or walk up the ramps into the open pit to dig, scoop and manipulate sand. This sensory experience also provides an uneven surface that will help to develop small muscles and develop coordination.

As a plywood lid is included, little ones can only access the messy play resource when practitioners remove the lid and allow free play. When the lid is in place, it becomes a mound to climb and jump from. Children can use their imaginations as it becomes an island or a mountain. You might even get a little performance at the summit!
