Our excellent Sliding Sand Pit features a lid that slides open and closed while having the extra benefit of locking when in place. The lid is more than simply a lid - reinforced with timber joists, it can take your children's weight meaning the whole item can double-up as a stage.

So not only being a place to explore the wonders of sand, this multi-functional and well-thought-out design can become a hub for expressive arts and outdoor performance.

With the English weather being a problem for most sand pits, our design includes a plastic sheeting under the decking to keep the sand dry.

Inclusive outdoor play comes to life. Children can manipulate the sand, dig for treasure, pour, sift and scoop to fine tune those physical movements! When the lid is closed, children can practice performing their favourite song or show further improving their voice projection, language, self-confidence and communication.
