Engage children’s curiosity as they explore and investigate different weights, measurements and metrics through play with our outdoor Weighing Scales. Experimenting with mud, sand, water and any other materials found in the outdoor area, children will work in teams to gather different resources and naturally develop their language, communication, teamwork and PSED as they discuss the effect each element has on the scales. Located by a Mud Kitchen, Weighing Scales encourage children to weigh out their muddy ingredients before cooking up their delicious mud pies, mud cakes and mud muffins! Unlike other playground weighing scale, our unique design includes a bearing pivot with a restrictor pin to ensure it's safe for your EYFS playground environment and engraved numbered measurements to further promote mathematical learning.
