When a child sees a Batonka Panel, their curiosity will instantly cause them to gravitate over with intrigue and excitement. As they hit each individual batonka, they will begin to understand the difference in sound level that the different sized batonkas make. This will also be an early educator for children understanding how sound travels and can even be used to introduce mathematical concepts through activities such as counting. It will also turn into a social hub as children will interact and collaborate on sounds together. They will also learn the importance of turn taking and teamwork which will develop their PSED and understanding of the world. When left to play freely. children will begin to use their imaginations to create their own music show, sing along to the varied sounds and imitate sounds they find recognisable from everyday life.
