Our Wetpour parking bays enhance school playground roadways, creating a dedicated space to store bikes and trikes. As well as teaching children about sharing and turn-taking, introducing new exciting roleplay activities and incorporating road safety.
Early years children will begin to learn to share and take turns as they park and exchange their bikes and trikes in the parking bays, learning to park the vehicle they’ve used in the right place after they have finished playing.
New, exciting roleplay activities will be introduced to the children as they drive to the ice cream shop and park up in the parking bays before heading inside.
Finally, incorporating road safety into the playground will further develop children’s understanding of the world as they learn and understand why they shouldn’t walk behind parked vehicles. A realistic playground roadway also provides the perfect area to begin teaching road safety and the basic rules of the road before children are taking outside of school grounds onto a real road.
