Unfortunately, I didn’t make it as a superstar striker for Liverpool as my dad may have hoped for from this photograph!
However, I did graduate with a degree in Primary Education with an English specialism. I have had the privilege of working with many children over the last thirteen years and have taught in both key stages 1 and 2.
During this time I was a Science Co-ordinator, which is a subject that I am passionate about. I loved to see children asking questions and being curious about the world around them. I strongly believe in the importance of learning through play and if my school playground had a pirate ship or a hobbit playhouse many of our lessons would have taken place there!
As a busy mum to two active young girls, I adore spending time with my family. We like to go on adventures and explore new places whether that’s farms, woodlands or parks. We enjoy going for walks and if that ends with a spot of lunch even better! I love art and I’m a bookworm but these days that mostly involves reading bedtime stories!
I am so excited to be joining team Pentagon as an Outdoor Learning and Play Educational Copywriter. Pentagon’s level of craftmanship and ability to totally transform outdoor spaces is outstanding. It’s fantastic to be part of a company that is enriching the lives of children all over the country!
